Description
How do everyday products, from candy to electronics, go through the steps of manufacturing, warehousing and delivery to arrive at your door right when you need them? Industrial and Systems Engineers are central to this process, known as the global supply chain. They also use data to improve efficiency and quality in work environments from factories to hospitals. This immersive 5-day summer camp introduces high school students to the exciting world of Industrial and Systems Engineering through hands-on activities, engaging lectures and real-world applications. Work in teams to complete hands-on challenges, simulate production systems, analyze data and even visit a state-of-the-art distribution center. Join us for a fun and practical introduction to solving real-world problems with systems thinking.
