Do you want to conduct hands-on experiments while exploring health careers? In this camp, you’ll work with professionals on hands-on activities and visit NIU’s labs and clinics to learn about a range of exciting medical careers. Test for medical conditions. Dissect a cow eye to learn about eye-related health conditions. Learn about biomedical engineering design. Visit the NIU Speech Language Hearing Clinic to see how professionals conduct audiology, speech and language tests. As you learn about the basics of these medical techniques, you’ll research and present additional applications for how they are used in medical fields.
