Science and math abound in the world of art, and they help to explain why some shapes and designs seem pleasing to the eye while others don’t. Learn some of the mathematical and scientific principles that influence art and design, such as the rule of thirds, the golden ratio, perspective, proportion and scale, then put them into action to create eye-catching art of your own.

This camp will meet online from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. daily. Campers will spend another 1 to 3 hours each day constructing and testing their projects, some of which may also be online. This camp is recommended for students in grades 3-6 but may be accessible to older students or younger students with additional support.

This camp is also offered July 5-9.
