Are you interested in Minecraft, block and JavaScript programming, modifying skins, 3D development or video games? This fun online camp helps to develop skills in coding, problem solving, graphic design and teamwork. In this camp you will learn the essentials of game design, invent game goals and rules and storyboard game scenarios. You’ll also get to build 3D worlds, program with Redstone and Microsoft MakeCode, apply textures and script objects to animate movement.

Computer Hardware and Software Requirements: Visit the page linked through the “Register” button to view the list of minimum requirements for attending the Minecraft camp. Please review these requirements carefully. This camp is highly technical and cannot be completed without the necessary hardware and software.

This is an online camp delivered by Northern Illinois University’s Digital Convergence Lab. To access this camp you will need a stable internet connection and a computer that meets the computer hardware and software requirements. Students will receive a login to an online webinar tool,the learning management system, and Minecraft for Education before the start of camp.
